The weather was pretty weird in recent days in Shanghai!
It was raining (heavy rain with thunderstorm) in the last two weeks.
Then we had chilly rain on Monday and light snow on Tuesday.

For those who are going to visit Shanghai soon, this would be a great news.
The Bund renovation project is right on schedule. The news said that the new Bund will be open to the public from 28th March.
Today when I was passing the bund, I saw the main construction has been completed, although the Bund area is still blocked for visitors.

We will travel to shanghai from Malaysia. May i know how much of the D train per pax from shanghai to Hangzhou, and also from Hangzhou to shanghai? We will stay at La Residence at Zhenning Road, Can you suggest which train we should take?

If you are working at Zhangjiang High Technology Park and also have to work 14-24 Feb 2010 (hope not because it is the Chinese New Year Holiday week), this information would be relevant.

The Lotus Supermarket was closed for refurbishment a couple of months ago. Personally I found it was inconvenient because after the exhausting shopping of clothes, shoes etc in the mall, I usually would like to buy some groceries at the end and cook a simple dinner when I return home. When I went to Andy’s office today, I found the desktop of his computer was a girl’s picture which looked very familiar…

I didn’t know today (22 Jan 2010) is La Ba Jie until I watched the morning news.
La Bameans the eighth day of the 12thmonth in Chinese Lunar Calendar. The whole month is regarded as the coldest time in the year and in Chinese we put La in front of some other word to indicate this special time, for example La Yue is putting La in front of the Yue (month) means the coldest month.
