Residents in the 15 cities of Yangtze River Delta will have high-speed Internet access by 2010. It is expected to cover 1 million people by 2010. The service will be about 100 times faster than what’s currently available.
The 3TNet will help to boost applications of cable networks in Shanghai, but it also bring three network service operators to a seamless fusion. Currently Internet users in China have faced interconnection issues of China Telecom, China Netcom, and China Cable Networks. Users from China Telecom have a painful experience to access China Netcom, and vice versa.
So 3TNet is a good news to residents in Yangtze River Delta.
