Tap water paid higher in Shanghai

Residents in Shanghai will pay 25 percent more for their tap water starting June 20 and then get one more increase of 22 percent in November next year.

Therefore, fees for water usage and discharges will rise to 2.3RMB per cubic meter and to 2.8 RMB next year. Currently price is 1.93 per cubic meter.

In return, the water companies pledged to provide a better quality product and improve services.

I will see how a jump will be in the next month bill. I paid last month bill of tap water around 50RMB, so I guess this is a small change to me. But will swimming pool increase ticket price too?
