Last week, I arranged one airport pickup service to my guest from US. It costs 600RMB to cover trip. Price is a little bit expensive though, but I think it is a comfortable and reliable solution and I prefer to use service done by hotel.
Generally, I believe many companies or hotels will provide pickup services to different groups of tourists in Shanghai. You could find different tiers based on your budget. Here is my quotation got from Radisson Hotel Shanghai New World.
Audi A6/Hotel Buick: 400RMB to Hongqiao Airport, one way only.
Audi A6/Hotel Buick: 600RMB to Pudong International Airport, one way only.
Mercedes Benz320: 600RMB to Hongqiao Airport, one way only.
Mercedes Benz320: 1000RMB to Pudong International Airport, one way only.
Definitely, price is not cheap compared with taxi or other transportation. But I used a lot and never had any complaints to hotel as well.
