Park Hotel is located in the very centre of Shanghai overlooking People’s Square which is also the busiest and biggest Metro Station in Shanghai. To get to the Park Hotel from Pudong Airport, you can:

1. Take the Maglev train from Pudong airport and change to Metro Line 2 at Longyang Road Station. The Maglev train station is just next to the Metro station, Long Yang Road. So it is pretty easy to find your way.  The train to Song Hong Road direction will take you to People’s Square. Get off at People’s Square, take the Exit 9, the Park Hotel is right in front of you.

Cost: Maglev train single: 40RMB + Metro: 5 RMB = total 45 RMB

Duration: Maglev train: 8 minutes + Metro: 30 minutes = total 40 minutes

2. Taxi. You can take the taxi from Pudong Airport directly to Park Hotel. It costs about 130RMB and takes about 1.5 hour. Or alternatively you can take the Maglev train to Long Yang Road first and then take taxi from Long Yang Road to Park Hotel. Taxi costs about 50RMB and takes about 30 minutes. But watch out those illegal taxis at Long Yang Road. Make sure you take the authorised taxis only.

3. Take Shuttle Bus Line 3 or Line 6 from Pudong Airport and get off at Long Yang Road stop. Change to Metro Line 2. Compared with Maglev train, it is less convenient as Long Yang Road is currently under construction and you have to deal with some crazy drivers on the road.

Costs: Shuttle bus: 14RMB + Metro: 5RMB = total 19RMB

Duration: Shuttle bus: 40 minutes + Metro: 30 minutes = 70 minutes

Personally I will suggest you to take taxi directly from Pudong airport to Park Hotel if you have more than 2 people and with lots of chunk luggage.  If only one person and you can handle the luggage, Maglev train + Metro would be a better choice as it is faster and safer.
