Question from Anita:
Hi, my cat, Kitty, has some difficulties eating in recent days. So I took her to a vet hospital near my home. The staff there are all Chinese can speak basic English and I can speak a little Chinese. But Kitty doesn’t look better after a few days. So I am wondering if I didn’t communicate well with the doctors there or they didn’t treat Kitty right. I am so frustrated and really worried. Do you know if there is a vet hospital in Shanghai where the staff are licensed and can speak good English? Thanks.
Answer from Hoo:
Hi, Anita, I am so sorry to hear Kitty isn’t well and I searched the web and asked some of my friends regarding your question. Yes, there is one (might be the only one) Vet hospital in Shanghai which provide English services and has licensed vet doctor from England and Australia.
It is called PAW Vet. PAW stands for Pets Are Wonderful. Please note you have to make an appointment before you go.
It is located in Xin Hua Road close to Kai Xuan Road. Metro line 3/4, get off at Hongqiao Station.
My friends told me the services were very good though the price was higher than normal vet hospital.
Hope Kitty is getting better soon.
