Today, when I came to the office around 10:15am, many people asked me if I was delayed by the Metro Line 2 accident. I had no idea because the train I took from Century Avenue Station was very normal. Then my colleagues told me it seemed that there was an accident somewhere in Line 2 and caused about 30 minutes delay.
Then the afternoon news reported that a person was killed at Century Avenue Station Metro Line 2 around 9:43am this morning because he/she jumped off the platform in front of an oncoming train. The news said the the gender and identity couldn’t be confirmed at this moment.
The reason why he/she jumped off the platform is unknown.
Shocking as I am in/out Century Avenue Station everyday for work.
