I was told I will arrive at Terminal 1 Pudong International Airport at 5pm because I will fly with American Airlines. Then I need to catch the flight from Terminal 2 Pudong International Airport to Chengdu at 7pm with Air China. Is it far from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2? Is there any shuttle bus I need to take? Thanks.

Terminal 1 to terminal 2 is not far away and is linked by three hallway paths.
You have two options to travel between these two terminals:
1. Yellow Shuttle Bus
There are free shuttle buses that travel between two terminals.
There are two pick up points at T1. Domestic Departure Level Gate 1 and International Departure Level Gate 8.
Two pick up points at T2 as well: Domestic Departure Level Gate 27 and International Departure Level Gate 23.
Time: 06:00- 24:00 every 10 minutes
The whole journey takes about 10 minutes with circular stops between two terminals.
2. On foot
The distance between T1 and T2 is about 500 meters . There are three hallways for passengers to walk between T1 and T2. It takes about 10 minutes and just follow the signage in the airport. It is clear and straightforward.
