As the National Day is approaching, the security check is tightened everywhere.
After the airports beefed up the security check, some Shanghai Metro Stations will conduct strict security check after 25th September.
Luggages will be scanned or even sometimes be opened for security check if necessary.
Those Metro Stations are:
- Yaohua Road Station (Line 8 )
- People’s Square Station (Line 1,2,8)
- Shanghai Railway Station (Line 1,3,4)
- Zhongshan Park Station (Line 2,3,4)
- Baoshan Road Station (Line 3,4)
- Longyang Road Station (Line 2)
- South Shanghai Railway Station (Line 1,3)
The news said that the strict security check will be applied in all Shanghai Metro stations before 2010 Shanghai EXPO.
