I am staying in Shanghai for a few days and would like to buy some table tennis (TT) equipment (rubbers, blades, t-shirts, ETC.). Thus, I feel free to kindly ask you to give me the information where could I find some proffessional TT stores because I cannot find them on the Internet. I thought there would be such a store at every corner but it seems I was quite wrong. Would appreciate 2-3 addresses (if possible nearby Jing’an district). Thank you very much.

Hi, Zlatko, you are right! There must be lots of places selling table tennis equipments in Shanghai as table tennis is always regarded as the National Sport in China.
Lots of places you can have a look.

Big shopping malls or department stores, the top floor is usually for sports wear and equipments.

Try:
1. West Gate Mall (5th Floor, 1038 West Nanjing Road): Metro Line 2, West Nanjing Road Station (metro map and open hour)
2. New World Department Store(6th Floor, 2-68 West Nanjing Road): Metro Line 1/2/8, People’s Square Station

Specialised sports equipment store:

Try:
1. Decathlon (More Decathlon stores and hours, check here)
- Address 1: 88 West Xian Xia Road( near Hami Road)
- Address 2: 393 Yin Xiao Road (this one is just opposite to the Maglev train in Pudong. Metro Line 2, Longyang Road Station)

2. Shanghai Sports Store
Address: 160 East Nanjing Road (near Middle Jiangxi Road) Metro Line 2, East Nanjing Road Station

Table Tennis Shop:

There is a famous Chinese table tennis brand called Double Happiness (DHS). There are a few stores in the city.
Try the flagship store at Shanghai Stadium:
Address: 797 Lingling Road (near San Jiao Dong Street) Metro Line 1/4, Shanghai Stadium Station
