Hi, Hoo, I heard there is a discounted shopping centre at Shanghai South Railway Station. Is it true? How is it? Worth going?

Yes, Mavis, you are right. There is a discounted shopping centre at Shanghai South Railway Station called Intime.
The whole shopping mall is divided into two parts situated right under the two squares (South and North Square) of Shanghai South Railway Station.
Intime Outlet Shopping Center at Shanghai South Railway Station
The South Mall is for sports, out wear and Men’s fashion, including most major sports brands in South Mall including Nike, Adidas, Nike, North Face, Columbia, Converse etc and high street men’s fashion brands. The North Mall is for Women’s Fashion including a large section of shoes. Most high street brands can be found there, Belle, Hush Puppies, Scholl, Esprit etc.
As an outlet centre, everything in Intime is discounted, average about 40-50% off.
My personal review:
The south mall is better than the north, especially if you are shopping for sportswear or outdoor wear. Prices are reasonable and the clothes are not so dated. The shopping enviorment is good as well, quite spacious. Please note that the two malls are situated separately on the north and south of the train station. So you need to go through the undergroud pass with all the travellers.
