Shanghai South Railway Station is the newest train station in Shanghai. First impression, it is not a train station, it is an airport!
Metro Line 1/3 and many buses including airport buses (Line 7) can all take you there.
It is even better if you take taxis, because there is an elevated road directly connecting to the departure of the train station (I said, like an airport!)

The whole train station consists of the main hall, which is the round shaped glass building, North Square and South Square.
Shanghai Long-distance south bus station is located on the Southeast of the train station at the corner of Liuzhou Road and Shilong Road. There is a undergroud pass to connect these two stations.
