Hi, Hoo, I am travelling by train from Suzhu to Shanghai and then will need to catch the flight to Mexico in Pudong Airport. I know I can take the shuttle bus line 5 from Shanghai Railway Station to Pudong Airport. But I just have no idea where the terminal is in the gigantic train station. Would you be able to give me the direction? Many thanks.

Hi, Frida, you are right. Airport shuttle bus line 5 is running between the Pudong Airport and Shanghai Railway Station.

The Line 5 terminal in Shanghai Railway station is located in south square of the station. When you exit the train station, make sure you go to the south square.

At the south square, you will see the clock tower in the middle. On the other end, you will see the big McDonald’s yellow M sign.

Tips to take airport shuttle bus no. 5:
a. Bus will sell standing tickets if no seats are available.
b. The whole journey is about 70 to 90 minutes, but do have some buffer time to balance the traffic on the road.
c. Bigger luggage will be put into lower deck of bus. But pay attention to your luggage as bus driver won’t be responsible for any wrong-takings for luggage.
