In my opinion, shuttle bus line 7 is the best choice if you need to travel between the Pudong Airport and the Shanghai South Railway Station. Non-stop and only costs 20RMB. So where is the Line 7 bus stop in Shanghai South Railway Station?
First of all, the terminal is located in the south square of the train station. So when you exit the train station, make sure you walk toward the south side.
From the map of Shanghai Railway Station, you will see the large area between the train station and the long-distance bus station is for buses and taxies.

You can enter this area either from the surface via the connecting bridges or underground passage.

Under normal traffic, no more than one and half hour bus from Shanghai south train station to pudong airport. However, plan a few more minutes and get airport early to wait better than stuck on the road.
