While the arguments about Lou Jing, the Shanghai Black Girl is still hot in town (see my previous blog about Lou Jing), a 20 year old Shanghai girl gave a birth to a Black Baby whose father is still unknown this month.

The report said the parents of the girl divorced a few years ago and since then she was not well looked after by both parents. The girl met a girl in the pub and then was taken to a flat where she met two black men. After some chat and a glass of wine, she became unconscious. When she woke up the next day, she found herself inappropriately dressed alone in the flat.
The girl then found herself pregnant this February. She tried to contact the girl who took her to the flat but failed. And she couldn’t even remember where the flat was.
Then she turned to her parents for help. Again, the parents refused and even didn’t want to see her any more.
Fortunately someone called Shanghai Teen Pregnancy helpline. The girl was sent to 411 hospital and gave birth to a black baby this month.
But the real problem could just begin from now. How can she raise this baby? How can she survive from all the pressure around her?
The public also has different opinions on this. Some blamed the girl’s irresponsible parents . Some people want to adopt the black baby to help the young girl. But on the other side, still quite a few people feel it is hard to accept this and said the girl should be responsible for what she did and learned the lesson.
Currently Shanghai Civil Affair Bureau is trying to contact the girls parents for better solution and also promised some financial aid.
