Although this is nothing to do with Shanghai, I personally feel this is useful.

Last update schedule from Chengdu to North Chongqing effective since July 1, 2010

I just had a business trip to Chengdu and knew that now CRH trains  run between Chengdu and Chongqing. I still remembered about a couple of years ago, I couldn’t find the best way to travel between Chengdu and Chongqing. Trains used to take 5 hours and not so pleasant. Coaches took about 4 hours, really uncomfortable. So I took the small jet plane from Chengdu to Chongqing. But still lots of time wasted on the way to/back from airports.

Now it only takes about 2 hours by CRH trains. Great! The CRH train goes to North Chongqing Railway Station. Since I didn’t take it by myself, I had no idea where this is about in Chongqing.

Ticket price: 98RMB for second class and 117 for first class.
