Shanghai Metro Line 7 Open this Saturday (5 December)

The news said the the Metro Line 7 (the EXPO line as  5 stations Line 7 passes are on the site of the 2010 World Expo) will make its debut this Saturday (5 December 2009).

Line 7 runs from the city’s northern Baoshan to Pudong New Area. But in its first phase, it only runs between Shanghai University Station in Zhabei District and Huamu Road Station in Pudong.

The color code for Line 7 is ORANGE.

The stations in operation during the first phase are (fron North to South):

Shanghai University Station

Nanchen Road Station

Shangda Road Station

Changzhong Road Station

Da Chang Zhen Station

Xingzhi Road Station

Dahuasan Road Station

Xincun Road Station

Langao Road Station

Zhenping Road Station (change for Line 3/4)

Changshou Road Station

Changping Road Station

Jingan Temple Station (change for Line 2)

Changshu Road Station (change for Line 1)

Zhaojiabang Road Station

Dongan Road Station (change for Line 4)

Chuanchang Road Station

Hou Tan (not in use currently)

Changqing Road Station

Yaohua Road Station (change for Line 8 )
