When I saw the huge Christmas tree in the lobby of my office building, I decided to start my year end shopping with some Christmas deco first.
After consulting some colleagues, the right direction: Yu Garden.
Yu Garden is not only a garden, actually it is a area full or markets, small shops, street foods etc. Sometimes local Shanghainese refer it as the Shanghai version of Yiwu because there are a few wholesale markets of gifts, art crafts, clothing, accessories etc around Yu Garden as well.
I was pretty overwhelmed by all the colorful shining Chritsmas decos when I got off the taxi.

Of course, the only rule: bargain. And don’t worry if you can’t get the deal done at one stall, because there are plenty of others just next to you.
Okay, time to see what I got today!

Owners in Fuyou Raod Market told me they will change the Christmas Deco products to Chinese New Year decorations after the Christmas. I guess I need to go again later…….
