There are two railway stations in Hangzhou to transport passengers to/from Shanghai. One is Hangzhou Railway Station which is the main station, and the other is South Hangzhou Railway Station (a.k.a. Hangzhou Xiaoshan Railway Station). Going to Shanghai or whereever, you may need to take train either at Hangzhou or South Hangzhou. If you happen to need to catch your train at Hangzhou Railway Station. This is a route map for your reference.
Hangzhou Railway Station is about 30km away from Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport. Spot A in the map is Wulinmen CAAC ticket office where is first or final stop of airport shuttle bus in downtown. Spot B is Hangzhou Railway Station, and C is South Hangzhou Railway Station.
