How going to Xiaoshan Airport from Hangzhou Railway Station. There are two options going to Xiaoshan Airport: by bus and by taxi. And if you are from Xiaoshan airport to Hangzhou, options are the same.

By Bus:
You could catch airport shuttle bus when you get off train. Shuttle bus starts from Wulinmen (spot A in the map) and makes 3 stops to airport which are Hangzhou Zhongshan International Hotel (spot B in the map), Hangzhou Railway Station (spot C in the map), and Xiaoshan Airport. First bus is 05:30, and the last bus 21:00 every day. It takes about one hour to airport, and ticket price is 20RMB.

By Taxi:
Xiaoshan airport is about 30km (19 miles) away from Hangzhou railway station, and taxi fare is no more than 100RMB if considering traffic on rush hour and toll. Journey is from half hour to one hour and dependent on how packed on the highway. Taxi fare lookup table here for reference.

Tips:
1. Give your own more time to airport considering to get out of the train station, possibly big line for the taxi (even worse when raining or ride refused by some taxi drivers) ,and traffic jam to airport on rush hour etc..
2. If queue to taxi is big, an alternative way is to go straight out and find a place away from station taxi stop and get yours. If I were you with less baggage, I will go two or three blocks away to call my taxi. However, watch out any illegal taxis around the station.
3. Finding the airport shuttle bus station seems a little tricky, and do check bus stop in front of station or ask people in uniform, such as police. In China, we got an old saying - got trouble, asking police for help. Scary to have an deal with Chinese cops, sometimes they are not what you thought.
