i am going to visit the Great Wall after jumping off from overnight train, do you know how long it takes to get to the Wall from South Beijing railway station? any metro to there? thanks.

  3. Hoo says:

@Marvel Please check an entry here for detail.

  4. Hoo says:

@Chaukie About journey time from South Beijing to the Great Wall, it depends on what transport service you use. If metro plus city bus, it about two to three hours. There is direct metro to the Great Wall of Badaling. However, there are tourism trains to Badaling daily which you may take from North Beijing railway station.

  5. Samuel says:

i took D32 once, and 10 hour riding journey really hurted my bum. However, the more i saw through the window, the more i want to explore - mini tractors and trailers, a vast fields of maize, stone-walled communities and more. It is an interesting to see more China outside a well-developed city.
