When travelling on the way, lockers are necessary sometimes. In China, besides luggage storage service (called left luggage in stations), we may have lockers in raliway stations or coach bus stations. But finding lockers in stations is not easy. For example, we have lockers in Shanghai Railway Station (public transportation guide), and they are hidden in few of station waiting rooms. And finding them, you need to explore one by one or ask staff in station.

Here is one I found in my last trip to Nanjing. I didn’t use it and I shared out what I learned to you in need.

Lockers in Shanghai railway station are from smarte locke as i spotted its logo. If you know how to use smarte locke, then you should be fine. English is available, and credit cards are welcome.

Medium box and large box are available but in different price.

Medium box price:
1. RMB10 for 0 to 8 hours storage
2. RMB15 for 8 to 12 hours storage
3. RMB25 for 12 to 24 hours storage
4. If over 24 hours, extra RMB10 will be charged in every 12 hours

Large box price:
1. RMB15 for 0 to 8 hours storage
2. RMB25 for 8 to 12 hours storage
3. RMB40 for 12 to 24 hours storage
4. If over 24 hours, extra RMB15 will be charged in every 12 hours

As for box size in medium or large, you could estimate from my photos.
