Better rails, Better life.

Yesterday I got a trip to Kunshan by D train, and I was new to board my train from just-face-lift North Square of Shanghai Railway Station.

Leaving from my home to take Metro line 4, and stopped at Shanghai Railway Station, I thought I would walk a long distance to South Square to board D train as before I did. That’s a terrible story to travellers with many baggage. But this time, I was lucky enough even I wasn’t bothered by luggage, there is a big sign to lead me to board from a newly renovated North Square.

New square was just opened a week ago, and still fresh to many passengers. Now there are few passengers in railway lounges and even in square, and what I saw are more staff in uniform than people like me. To me, it is much better than what was before and I even compared it with modern South Shanghai Railway Station. Hope it will be better rails, better city, and better life for ever.

Face to Shanghai Railway Station in the north square, Metro station is on the lefte side and Shanghai central coach bus station is on the right side, where buses lead you to more than 100 cities or towns in China. BTW, expo bus line 1 is in North Square too. After you get off train, you could easily jump on bus to expo park.

How to reach north square of Shaghai railway station:
By Metro line 3/4 stop @Shanghai Railway Station and Exit no. 1 or 3
By bus No. 306, 310, 115, 515, 817, 823, and 942 etc..
By taxi (taxi drop-off and pickup seems to be underground)
