In 2009, the top three industries for average salary in China are finance, IT, and academic sectors. Average yearly incomes in three sectors are 30453, 28166, and 26187 yuan respectively in private sectors. But in non-private sectors, yearly pays are almost double to 70265, 59919, and 50866 yuan respectively. The lowest salary is agricultural sector about 15,000 yuan per year.
By region, Shanghai is No. 1 for avarage salary in the country. Yearly income in Shanghai is 63549 yuan in non-private sector. The following regions are Beijing in 58410, Tibet in 48750, Tianjin in 44992, Zhejiang 37395, Guangdong 36335, and Jiangshu 35890 yuan.
