Both Hongqiao airport terminal 2 and Hongqiao railway station are the major parts of Greater Hongqiao Transport Hub. They are linked by an underground walkway, and distance of two is about 500 meter.
After passengers get off airplanes and go to Hongqiao railway station, they have two options:
1. Take metro line 2 at Hongqiao airport terminal 2 station, and Hongqiao railway station is just one station away from terminal 2. Subway takes about two minutes from station to station.
2. Walk to Hongqiao Railway Station from terminal 2. There is a walkway between two where is at B1 (underground level 1). I walked once, it took me about 10 minutes. Now both sides of walkway are under decoration, and when completed, I think it won’t be alone as many stores or restaurants accompany you.
