Shanghai Huangpu long distance bus station is under the Nanpu Bridge of the Puxi side. It is a major transport hub to link the city bus, long distance bus, taxi and metro in an easy way to transit.

To and from Huangpu long distance bus station, you could have the following options:

1. By metro
Metro line 4 going to long distance bus station directly, and all you need is to stop at the right metro station which is Nanpu Bridge station. After getting off from subway, taking exit No. 1 to bus station directly, and vice versa. you could check metro map to know how to get to or from Nanpu bridge to where you need to go.

2. By local city bus
There are many bus lines starting from Huangpu bus station to different directions of city.
Bus No. 306: It is a night bus to north square of Shanghai railway station. Time schedule is 00:16, 00:46, 01:16, 01:51, 02:21, 02:51, and 03:21.
Bus No. 324: It is a night bus to Shanghai railway station too, but in a different route than Bus No. 306. Bus schedule is 23:45, 00:20, 00:55, 01:30, 02:10, 02:45, 03:20, and 03:55.
Bus No. 303: It is a night bus to South Shanghai railway station. Time schedule is 23:40, 00:10, 00:50, 01:30, 02:15, 03:00, and 03:35. Bus will stop Shanghai Normal Universtiy as well.
Bus No. 45: It is a bus direction to Xiangyang park and Jinan Temple. Bus schedule is from 05:07 to 23:02.
Bus No. 144: It is a bus direction to South Shanghai railway station. Bus schedule is from 05:30 to 22:30.
Bus No. 109: It is bus to Shanghai railway station. Bus schedule is from 04:25 to 23:00.
Bus No. 64: It is bus to Shanghai railway station too, but in the different route. Bus schedule is from 04:30 to 23:30.

3. By long distance coach bus
From Huangpu bus station, you could reach to major island cities in Zhejiang province, such as Dinghai, Dayangshan, Shengsi, and Putuoshan etc.. You also could go to cities in the Jiangshu province, such as Yancheng, Qidong, Haian, Gaoyou, and Taixin etc..

4. By taxi
There are taxi stands in bus stations, but please do call a taxi service from Dazhong, Qiangsheng, or Bashi etc.. Estimate your taxi fare, here is a taix cost lookup table for reference.
