If I spent 10k RMB per month for my apartment, what kind of house I could rent in Beijing? Location, condition, and furniture etc..?
Checked with a professional Chinese web site about real estate, an typical apartment,as an example, was built in year 2008, and size is 120 square meter (about 1292 square feet), three bedrooms, and one living room. Full furnitured, all you need is to bring nothing except you. Cable TV, Internet, and phone are available. Location is in the CBD area of Beijing. And 5 minutes walk distance to financial district of Beijing.

Remember, this price quotated on August, 2010. As CPI in China is always on the high bar, and inflation makes landlords feel pain. So next year, price for this apartment may not be 10000RMB. Given Chinese real estate market, 10 or 20 percent increase is not a surprise.
