Shanghai now has three major railway stations, and visitors may confuse about where to board trains at the railway station. Because tickets in one station could be bought from other Shanghai train stations as well.

Three train stations are: Shanghai railway station (main station), Shanghai South railway station, and Shanghai Hongqiao railway station (the biggest and newest station).
