Hangzhou has many coach bus stations going to cities in the country. The major stations are Hangzhou Central Coach Bus Station, Hangzhou South Coach Bus Station, Hangzhou North Coach Bus Station, and Hangzhou West Coach Bus Station.
1. Hangzhou Central Coach Bus Station is the biggest station in the Zhejiang province, and it began to operate in year 2008. The station is located in the Jiubao Town, East of Hangzhou, and also called Hangzhou East Coach Bus Station. The first floor is the waiting lounge, and the second floor is ticket office. From here, buses will go to many cities or towns in Shanghai, Jiangshu, and northern Zhejiang etc.. daily.

2. Hangzhou South Coach Bus Station is a station near to Hangzhou railway station. Each day station has about 800 buses to transport about 16K passengers to major southern cities in Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Fujian province etc. Now for expo 2010 Shanghai, there have direct buses to expo park daily. 3. Hangzhou West Coach Bus Station is built in 2002. Each day it has more than 340 buses going to cities in Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Hubei. If going to Huangshan mountain, travellers could take bus here.

4. Hangzhou North Coach Bus Station began to use in 1999. It is the oldest station in Hangzhou. Each day it will dispatch about 700 buses to transport 13k passengers to cities or towns in Anhui, Jiangshu, Shanghai, Beijing, Henan, Shandong, Hubei, Chongqing and northern Zhejiang.
