I’ve heard the pubs in Tongren Road were closing down a couple of weeks ago. I thought that was few cases or temporary closure due to the Christmas holiday or something else. But from today’s news, the pubs in Tongren Road are closed because they don’t fit government new city planning. According to the new planning, the pubs will be replaced by some high end restaurants to fit with the ‘high end and elegant’ West Nanjing Road CBD area. Read More…
