96 plaza is my favorite place to meet friends and dining out. Why I like this plaza so much is its quiet environment and less crowd shopping mall. In Shanghai, it is hard to find a relative quiet mall like this. Why? I am still wondering, maybe small, maybe less marketing. But plaza has opened more than 2 years now. Jointek Wine Shop at 96 Plaza Shanghai Saturday, September 5th, 2009
Today is Wendy’s birthday, so I decided to bring her a bottle of wine. It took me a while to figure out where I could find those good wines in town because we don’t see many wine shops in Shanghai!
Some ideas popped in my mind (oh, maybe just two)
-Supermarket
-Marks & Spencer in West Nanjing Road
I just don’t bother to go a long way for a bottle of wine. Then I remembered I passed a little wine shop inside 96 Plaza. So I decided to give it a try.

96 plaza is a newly opened shopping center in Pudong district. It is good for people who like shopping in a quiet and non-crowded atmosphere. I went there several times for dinner and shoppings. Until now, I feel it is highly recommended one I’d like to meet friends and enjoy a more relax hang-out.
But as 96 plaza is more and more popular, will it become other plazas we have in Shanghai? At lease now, it is not. Photos I took in other days will tell more. Read More…

If you live in Shanghai, you will find it is very difficult to have a table during the weekend especially inside those busy shopping malls. Full of people, always long queue.
But today I might find the most quiet shopping centre in Shanghai, 96 Plaza.
The location is fairly convenient. I got off at the Century Avenue Station (Metro Line 2/4/6/9) and took the Exit 12. And then crossed Centuray Avenue and Dong Fang Road big junction. The 96 Plaza is on the left side, next to Purpule Mountain Hotel. Read More…
