Airlines in Hongqiao airport terminal one Tuesday, July 6th, 2010

Hongqiao airport terminal 1, a major transport hub in Shanghai, now is more quiet than before Hongqiao airport terminal two has been opened to the public. Most airlines have moved to new airport terminal, but few still land in terminal 1 every day. Because Hongqiao airport terminal 2 and 1 don’t have any walkway to link together, passengers should take free shuttle bus to either one about 10 minutes. So check airlines landing in airport terminal 1, and plan your journey advance. Read More…

China Budget Airline - China Spring Airline Friday, July 31st, 2009

English Service by Shanghai Airlines Saturday, July 11th, 2009

I was told that Shanghai Arilines has English service to let you check information you want by operator.

In other day,  I tried its English service to help my expat friend know how it works.  I guess hot-line welcome message is not user-friendly at all to passengers who only speak English, and what I mean it will puzzle them a while to make sure Shanghai Airlines really has English service by hot-line.  “For English Service, press 2″ is really hidden deeply by a long recording Chinese welcome plus promotion message. I am sure they need to learn from their counterpart in detail. It is devil in the details.

However, as you figure out they do have English service by hot-line, then thing will become easy.  Basically after you listen a long Chinese message until the end, you will be prompted for your next step which is “For English Service, press 2″. Then a English-speaking customer representative  started to help you,  I think that’s not bad.

Anyway hope all your guys having user-friendly and enjoyable experience when staying in China.

Going to Vietnam by Shanghai Airlines, no stopover but imperfect time Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Then I checked around and found there are several ways flying to Vietnam from Shanghai, but my father didn’t want stopover at Hongkong this time. And I ordered a round-trip ticket from Shanghai Airlines.  But its departure or arrival time may not be perfect as I expect.   Read More…
