The Bund Still Closed during the National Holiday 2009 in Shanghai Friday, September 4th, 2009
This is a rather disappointing news for many people who are going to travel to Shanghai during their National Holiday (1-8 Oct).
The Bund authority has confirmed that the Bund will still be closed to the visitors during the National Holiday due to the renovation project construction. The main concern for this decision is safety issues as they are afraid that large crowds on the Bund which is still in the process of the construction will cause serious problems.
However the news reported that the Bund will be beautifully lighted up during the Golden Week. Read More…
